Will Caninabis get my pet high?

No we do not use any marijuana in our products. Marijuana has the potential of being toxic for your pet. We use domestically grown, full spectrum Hemp.

Our products are formulated by Holistic Veterinarian Dr. Ana Falk for the wellbeing of your pet, and without any toxic ingredients.

How will CBD and phynocannabinoids help my pet?

What is the endocannabinoid system?

All animals have an endocannabinoid system composed of CB1 and CB2 receptors that are configured only to accept cannabinoids.

CB1 receptors are found predominantly in the brain, upper airways, liver, adrenal glands, prostate and reproductive organs.

Both CB1 and CB2 receptors are located in cells of the eye, stomach, heart, pancreas, digestive tract and bones

CB2 receptors are found in the cells of the lymphatic and immune system.

These receptors are involved in the regulation of mood, appetite, immune system functions, pain management, and inflammation.

Are there any adverse side effects of using Cannabinoids?

No. Medical grade hemp is safe, non- toxic and non-habit forming.

 Can my animal take Caninabis with other medications?

No contraindications have been reported with cannabinoids from hemp.

Where does your hemp come from?

The cannabinoids used in our proprietary formula are sourced from hemp grown in Colorado. It is a full plant extract which contains terpenes and other non-psychoactive cannabinoids primarily CBD.

What are the ingredients in Caninabis Chews?

Organic rye flour, organic brown rice flour, organic chicken broth, organic oatmeal, canola oil, egg, milk.

Where are your products made?

We make all of our products in the USA and with the highest quality ingredients so you don’t have to worry about potential toxicity.

What is the shelf life of Caninabis treats?

Our products are developed by professionals, they are Free of preservatives and yet we have perfected our system and done shelf life studies!

The treats have a lot number and expiration date of 1.5 years if unopened. Once you open a container keep the treats in their resalable bag in a dry place and use them within 6 months.

How should Caninabis be stored?

Please keep ZHolistic products in the containers they come in, the containers are specifically chosen for their ability to preserve the products, and keep them in a dry place away from sun light. There is no need to refrigerate or freeze our products and treats

 How long does it take to see results?

It depends what you are using our products for, in some instances benefits can be immediate other times it may take a couple of weeks to see benefits.

How many chews can I give?

Every animal is different and requires different amounts. Please start with our recommended amount (up to 20lb of body weight – 1 treat) and go up from there. Caninabis can be given at any time of the day and may be repeated as needed.

Is it possible for my pet to overdose on Cannabinoids?

Cannabinoids are safe and nontoxic.

It is not possible to overdose on CBD or any of the cannabinoids found in our products.
Immune Support and Healthy Joints have additional ingredients and should be given as directed in the package.


Can my pet take Caninabis daily?

Absolutely. ZHolistic products contain cannabinoids that are safe, nontoxic, and can be taken for life if needed.

 My pet won’t eat the chews, what should I do?

Our treats have great palatability – meaning dogs love them, however for those few picky pets, Dr. Falk recommends covering the chew with a little peanut butter or crushing the treat with a mug and crumbling it up on your pet’s favorite soft food.

If your pet still refuses to eat  chews, please contact us, we warrantee all of our products and are happy to replace them with a tincture or give you a refund if needed.

How long does one serving last?

One serving of CBD will last 4-8 hours.

What is the recommended serving? How many chews should I give per day?

We recommend 1 chew per 20 lbs of body weight. However, every pet is different, Use our recommendation as a starter point, and give more if needed.

 If my pet weights 5 lbs how many chews should I give ?

1 chew, it is not possible to overdose with CBD we recommend 1 treat for any pet under 20 lb of body weight.

Will my cat eat Caninabis chews?

Dr. Falk likes to say “cats are cats and they only do what they want”. Some cats like the treats however with cats it is easier to use our Caninabis tinctures, that way you may give it directly in the mouth, or mix it with his favorite soft food.

 What temperature are Caninabis treats baked at?

We bake our treats at 280 degrees F.
